Forestry

 Hi everyone! How do you know I study forestry and I'm in fourth year :) I love my career but I didn't always wants to study forestry, I didn't even know it existed! 

In first place never I did love so much the school, I hated being in a room all day for that always I did know that I wanted to study a career with terrain. I love math and physics <3 the career that was most related with to what I wanted  was geology in the university of chile but to enter I needed a high score on the PSU because I had to apply for common plan engineering :( I was missing 20 points !!! 

I didn't give up, I remember I went to the University of Chile career fair with my mom, looking for some special entrance. My mom took me to a stand near the geology stand, it was full of plants and there I met Forestry, one week before applying! I went in blind but during the career I have been falling in love with it. I have known many places of Chile and very good friends <3 I can't imagine studying anything else :) 

How did you get to what you study?

    trips to shitty terrains! you learn a lot but they are very exhausting.

My Dream Country !

 I was remembering when I was very young age one of my dreams was travel, visiting countries all round the world are so interesting because i wanna learn about the culture, development, ecosystems and nature.  I imagined working in any job, and saving money to visit the next country.  Definitely one country I have to go is Norway, I love his landscape ! I would go to the most beautiful postcard on Bergen fjord <3, make an unforgettable trip on the flam railway, for sure see a natural phenomenon like Aurora Borealis and know the Briksdal Glacier. In all the adventure that I thought should take a time to drink and taste akvavit or ¨water of life¨ a distillate originating from Scandinavian countries.  I would love to know more about his lifestyle, Norway is known for be a developed country with an excellent quality of life. Changes in my career

During my career there have been many good and bad anecdotes that make you question how things work in the faculty. Mainly because is a career with many practices and terrain wich last a long time. In these practices a lot of physical activity is done and for that's why I think a fitness test would be very necessary.  Most of the time we visit places far away from the city and we are exposed to many dangers such as injuries, stings, allergies, among others and we go without someone who know first aid, that is another aspect that I would change.  In some properties where we stay in practices, the people who cook are not very informed about the different types of food, I eat everything but most of my classmates are vegetarian or vegan and it has happened that they give them pieces of meat in their food and they have eaten it without previously realizing it.
